We are learning new things

Pace has been busy busy busy learning new things! About a week ago he figured out how to go from crawling to sitting to back to crawling and boy was he proud of himself. He's also figured out how to pull himself up onto his knees which has made for some interesting afternoons the last couple of days trying to put him down for a nap. He'll pull himself up in his crib and then not know how to get back down which leads to serious frustration. Because he's a curious, lightening fast crawler, we had to put up a cage, I mean "clubhouse," to keep him safe but now he has figured out that this is holding him back and is not happy about it. Today, Pace and Andy did their first science experiment together: dropping a piece of paper, shoe, and ball at the same time and seeing which hit the floor first. Pace loves watching things drop so this was a particularly interesting experiment for him. He is also trying to learn how to climb up stairs. He's good at stretching out over two of them to almost a standing position but then can't quite get his knee up high enough to clear the step. It's a work in progress.

Andy and Kira are learning how to deal with customers and difficult customers! Ah the joys of business. We're also learning how to build our website and hope to have something up soon!
